To make gold material follow this steps
Make a VRayMtl and name it "gold". Set the diffuse value to 172,115,40 (RGB)
Set the reflection value to 190,161,116 (RGB)
(do not have to follow the value, you can change according to your taste but make sure it simillar)
Clik L and set the Hilight Glossiness 0,6
and the Refl Glossiness 0,9
Click assign material to selection, to see the result Hit Render.
